He has twenty years of experience as an ice reporter and expedition leader for the Stockholm Ice Sailing Club. He has previously written the books The Big Book of Long-Distance Ice Skating and Winter Waters.

Skater's Guide to Lake Mälaren is part of a series of three books that describe ice skating areas around the Mälarden region, Stockholm, and the archipelagos on the east coast.
