Description
Turskøyting i Norge by Calazo förlag is a guidebook that describes the skating waters in Norway.
Norway is unique in Europe with a vast variety of different types of waters in a comparatively small geographic area. The book includes descriptions of everything from spectacular fjords and large lakes to small secret forest tarns and streams at the foot of high mountain peaks and glaciers.
The book is the result of a massive volunteer project, with contributions from 39 skaters from across Norway. They generously share information about when in the season you can usually skate, which areas are weak, where you can park, and the easiest ways to access the ice.
The book is compiled by an editorial team consisting of the three experienced tour skaters Håvard Tørring, Per Sollerman, and Terje Johnsen.
