In 1899, the craftsman Lars Fredrik Pettersson started a carpentry shop, which manufactured furniture, doors and windows for the growing community of Edsbyn. In 1928, son Ivar Pettersson took over and a new era began. In 1934, the Edsbyns Ski Factory was incorporated, which as early as 1905 supplied skis to the Swedish defense.
