Lightning 60 from Exped is a lightweight hiking backpack that suits you where both minimal weight and functionality are important. The functional roll top closure allows not only quick access, but also expansion of the main compartment. Side pockets made of elastic fabric can be used to store items such as water bottles as well as hiking poles or tent poles. Zippered pockets on the hip belt on top of the bag provide even more quick-access storage space.
Zigzag compression straps and a strap that runs across the pack with quick release buckles hold gear as a sleeping pad. When rock climbing, ice gear can be attached to the designated loops and central daisy chain.
The fully adjustable suspension system with minimal contact points and aluminum stays is length adjustable and can easily be configured to fit the length of your back. Additional wearing comfort is provided by a padded hip belt. The lightweight material is water-repellent (1500 mm) and PFC-free.
