The Universal Axe X-Series X14 from Fiskars is an axe. It is balanced and designed to fit the body for smooth one-handed use. The innovative sharp steel head is designed to split wood more efficiently. The steel is also double-hardened so the precision-ground edge stays sharp longer. The specialized blade angle allows for easy and clean cuts, even in fresh, resinous wood. A friction-reducing coating helps the head glide through the wood more easily while also protecting against rust.
