Women's Falketind down800 -18.5C sleeping bag 170 is an extra warm sleeping bag for outdoor adventures in colder temperatures.
The sleeping bag is made of high-quality, recycled materials with excellent properties: The surface material is a soft 20D ripstop made of recycled nylon treated with PFC-free DWR coating for extra weather protection. The lining is a soft 20D 100% recycled polyester. To provide extra protection in exposed areas, the hood and heel parts are reinforced with a durable, waterproof 2.5-layer material (20D) with a surface of 100% recycled nylon.
The bag's comfort temperature range is between +5 and -18.5 C according to the EN23537-1:2016 test. The bag's transition range, when you start to feel cold but can still use it, is between -19 C and -27 C. The bag has a total weight of 1850 g with a down filling of 1273 g. In this slightly shorter sleeping bag, the down filling makes up 69% of the total weight (For the women's versions, we use the same amount of down but in a smaller bag).
The sleeping bag is filled with RDS-certified down 800+ with HyperDry+DWR for top-notch performance. HyperDry+ down undergoes a unique fluorocarbon-free treatment that allows the down to retain its exceptional filling and warmth in relation to weight for a longer time - even if it gets wet. The down is distributed precisely in shaped channels throughout the sleeping bag to ensure optimal heat and function and the foot section has extra synthetic insulation over the toes to avoid compressing the down.
The fit is inspired by our down jackets to provide a comfortable, spacious, and heat-efficient fit. By avoiding a tube-like shape we reduce the risk of cold areas where too much space prevents effective insulation. We have also created an internally adjustable thermal retention collar that keeps the heat locked in. The centered zipper makes it easy to get in and out and has a three-way function that optimizes ventilation options.
