Description
Aquila from Petzl is a functional and adjustable climbing harness designed for maximum comfort during hanging moments and for effective handling of a lot of equipment — particularly suitable for trad, multipitch, and ice climbing. The wide waist belt provides even pressure distribution and also fits larger body types. The FUSEFRAME construction with molded closed-cell foam offers comfort over time, while the breathable inner lining effectively wicks away moisture.
The leg loops are adjustable with DOUBLEBACK HD buckles and have a flexible bridge that provides good freedom of movement. The tie-in points are reinforced with HMPE for increased resistance against rope wear, and the outer fabric is durable against abrasion.
The harness has two large, rigid front gear loops, two flexible rear loops angled for better accessibility, and a central rear loop for belay station equipment. An extra accessory loop and compatibility with CARITOOL EVO make it easy to organize both personal and technical equipment.
