The Stratos Lite III is a spacious, lightweight dome tent designed for trekking and bikepacking, accommodating three individuals. It is primarily constructed using recycled materials. Featuring interconnected DAC aluminum poles, the tent offers effortless pitching and excellent wind stability. Due to its sturdy design, only a minimal number of pegs are needed to secure it, proving advantageous on harder ground. To reduce weight and enhance fabric durability, the flysheet is coated with silicone on both sides. This coating significantly decreases the tent's overall weight while simultaneously increasing its resistance to tearing and harmful UV rays.

Conventional seam tape does not adhere well to silicone-coated fabrics, including those used for the tent. Instead, Jack Wolfskin have used a unique yarn that expands when damp to seal the seams effectively.
