Flora for Mountain Hikers is a flora from Calazo Publishing. Filled with the fascinating mountain plants of the mountain world. Often, it is an encounter with the flowers and greenery of the mountains that remains in memory from a hike.

The plant gallery in this book describes 200 both common and less common plants that are found in the Scandinavian mountain range. In addition to photographs and facts, there are extra tools to distinguish similar plants. Since most plants occur on both sides of the national border, the species names are also given in Norwegian.

The book also provides fundamental knowledge about the different plant environments found in the mountains and how the mountain plants have adapted to endure low temperatures and strong winds. At the end of the book, there is a color index to help easily identify the plants you see along the trail.
