The Duke PT 16 from Marker is the top model in the Royal Family series and marks a new chapter in the development of touring bindings. This binding offers an exceptional combination of the downhill performance of the Jester binding and the convenience of a pintech binding when climbing. The Duke PT 16 is adjustable between DIN 6 and 16, making it suitable for demanding skiers seeking ultimate control and safety both uphill and downhill.
The most prominent feature of the Duke PT 16 is the innovative Ride & Hike toe piece. For uphill mode, simply unlock and fold the upper part forward to reveal the pintech binding. To reduce weight, the upper jaw section can be removed and stored in the backpack.
The Lock & Walk unit automatically locks the ski brakes and offers a 10° climbing aid. For downhill, the front part clicks back onto the binding plate, where it is securely fastened through Auto Quad Lock technology. The toe piece now functions as an alpine toe piece, with all its advantages. The heel part is the latest generation Inter Pivot 3 freeride heel with a lightweight magnesium housing and enhanced rigidity.
