The Men's Earthrise Hooded Jacket is a warm down jacket from Mountain Equipment, ideal for spring and autumn, and it also works well as a mid-layer during colder winter days. This jacket has been enhanced with more down filling, technical design, and a matte outer material made of recycled ripstop nylon. The outer material features PFC-free DWR, which increases both performance and durability over time. The jacket is filled with recycled down in narrow stitched-through chambers that contribute to good down control, freedom of movement, and, not least, low weight.
The jacket has a good technical fit that minimizes air around the arms, while the two-way YKK zipper ensures that the jacket also works perfectly with a climbing harness. The hood is well insulated and follows the head well, making it suitable for use under most climbing helmets.
