Alpine Poles

Alpine poles come in many different models and materials as well as in varying lengths. There are advantages to each pole model, but the most important thing is that you find a pole that suits you and your skiing. Here at Outnorth, you will always find classic poles made of aluminum, composite or carbon fiber in different price ranges.

Choose the right length of your alpine poles

One of the most important things to consider when buying new poles, besides the choice of material, is the length of the poles you buy. The easiest way to find out what your pole length should be when you go on the piste is to stand with your back straight. Then you hold your arms at your side and bend your arm up so that the angle between your upper arm and forearm is 90 degrees. Then you measure the distance between your hand and the floor and add 3-5 cm and you have a good pole length. Several of our poles are also equipped with FlickLock locks, which ensure that it is quick and easy to adjust the length of the poles. This also means that you can be several people in the family who can share the same pair of poles if you are not going to go at the same time.
